Norbert Tadeusz, who had been a master student of Joseph Beuys, is known for his colourful and expressive painting, often in a large format, in which human figures are often depicted in curious positions.
In the present small format painting it is an almost nude woman, who is lying on a blanket on the floor with bent legs, about to take off her top with crossed arms. The scene tells a story and the artist stimulates our imagination to speculate what that story might be.
