We encounter the diversity of nature's formal language everywhere, and especially in our own appearance - a theme that has fascinated artists since the beginning and inspired them to great artistic achievements.

In reviewing our inventory of paintings and sculptures, we were struck by how many of our works grew out of this fascination artists have for the human figure.

From this developed the idea and the desire to show these works in detail, supplemented by corresponding works from other sources, in a comprehensive catalogue. We hope you enjoy reading and gaining insight into the richness of the forms.
