"Disco Solare", 1989-90

Pomodoro's sculptures can be found in public places in Milan, Copenhagen and Brisbane, in front of the University of Dublin Trinity College, Mills College, California, the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles, in the Cortile della Pigna of the Vatican Museum and in major public collections all over the world. A monumental "Sfera" with a diameter of 330 cm (130 in.) was installed in United Nations Square in New York in 1996.
