About the work
With his rejection of painting, Adolf Luther has since the early 1960s been one of the most radical artists. Glass, metal, mirrors, lenses, laser and smoke were the material he used.
With his art, he did not want to represent the visible, but make us see the invisible. His mirrors and lenses produce a glow that reaches beyond the work into space.
